Teenager’s Bail For Fatal Crash Sparks Nationwide Outrage

A 17-year-old boy rigorously driving a supercar “Porsche” smashes two people on a motorcycle. The victims of the accident died on spot. The boy was taken into custody and got “bail” on the condition that he would write an essay on “Road safety”.

His bail aroused anger across the Nation on the ground that cost of two lives due to an irresponsible action should not be just writing an essay on road safety. The boy’s father Vishal Agarwal was arrested for giving permission to drive “illegally” as the teenager is below 18 years. The boy’s grandfather was arrested for attempting to approach the driver to take the allegation on himself (driver) on behalf of the teenager.

As seen in CCTV the boy was “heavily drunk” from a city bar drinking bottles of alcohol on the eve of clearing class 12.

Police Commissioner told reported, “The father of the minor has been named as an accused on charges of changing in the sample. Technical evidence suggests that the father was in direct contact with Dr Taware”.

Dr Ajay Taware, Head of the Forensic Medicine Department of Sassoon General Hospital and its Chief medical officer Dr Shrihari Halnor were taken into custody for intentionally changing the blood sample of the boy and replacing it from the blood of a doctor. The sample were collected as to check whether the boy consumed alcohol or not. During the interrogation, doctors admitted the switching of samples. Dr Pallavi Sapale, dean of the Grant Medical College and JJ group of hospitals, approached the hospital. Dr Sapale said, “We will submit our observations to the state government and its is the prerogative of the government as to what action it want to take”. She added, “We have been directed by the government to submit the report at the earliest”.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that he is is touch with the Pune Police Commissioner and says that law is equal for all. Congress State unit Chief , Nana Patole says that the hospital has become a five- star hotel for criminals. He said, “Such incidents have been reported in Nagpur, Jalgaon and Pune, but what is infuriating is that efforts were made through the government system to ensure that the privileged accused get immediate bail”.

Shinde reverting back to the statement by Nana Patole says that, “I have been in touch with the Pune police commissioner since day one. I have said right from the beginning that, irrespective of how influential the person is, there should be no discrimination. No matter how rich or poor a person is, the law is equal for all and no one will be soared. I have ordered strict action”.

Maharashtra CM also says, “The two people who have died are also someone’s children. Strict action will be taken against all guilty people in this case. Their background will also be checked. I have personally told the police commissioner to spare no one, whether it is a doctor or anyone else”.
