On Friday, mom-to-be Deepika Padukone posted pictures of herself from a shoot on Instagram. A day later, Ranveer Singh re-shared some of the clicks on his Instagram stories, accompanied by super cute captions. Posting a close-up of Deepika, Ranveer Singh wrote, “Kya karun mai, mar jaun. Sharing another picture of his superstar wife, Ranveer wrote, “Buri nazar wale tera mooh kala,” a phrase used to ward off evil eye and jealousy. Adding another picture, he wrote, “My Sunshine.”
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are expecting their first child together. September is the baby’s due month. 2018 saw the pair participate in two wedding ceremonies. Only close friends and family attended the couple’s small destination wedding on Lake Como in Italy. Afterwards, they gave lavish celebrations in Mumbai and Bengaluru. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh began dating in 2012, and they went on to disclose on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan 8 last year that they had secretly gotten engaged in 2015.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela (2013), Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s debut movie together. Additionally, the pair co-starred in Padmaavat and Bajirao Mastani. The pair appeared together on screen in Kabir Khan’s sports drama 83 as well. The Cirkus song Current Laga Re has them both as co-stars.
Their next film appearance will be in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. In terms of her career, Deepika Padukone most recently starred alongside Hrithik Roshan in Fighter. She has a very full schedule coming up. She will co-star with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan in Kalki 2898 – AD. She’ll be back in Singham Again as well. Alongside Amitabh Bachchan, the actress will also feature in the Hindi version of The Intern.
