Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that as the public is concerned about rising inflation and unemployment, but PM Modi is busy creating gaps between Hindu and Muslim Communities.

Priyanka Gandhi expressed such concerns while addressing an election rally in Chandigarh. Drawing attention to the Congress manifesto at the public meeting, she said that by defeating BJP, a message should be sent from Chandigarh to the whole nation.

She also added that the word inflation on longer comes out of the Prime Minister’s Mouth. Slamming PM Modi for his “Mujra” remark, she said that since independence no Prime Minister has stepped so low.

On Saturday, Narendra Modi attacked the India bloc for appeasement politics, stating that they are performing mujra to keep their vote bank intact. He added that till he is alive he won’t allow the rights of ST, SC or OBC to be snatched away. Such remarks brought sharp criticism from opposition leaders.

Congress Leader Pawan Khera says, “Is this the way a Prime Minister of a country speaks? Is there any provision for reservation based on religion anywhere in the Constitution? You have been a PM for 10 years, you have been sitting after taking the oath of the constitution, you should have at least read what is written in it.”

Rashtriya Janta Dal, Tejashwi Yadav wrote a letter to the PM saying that he has said many baseless and false things to the people.

Polling in Chandigarh will be held in the 7th and final phase of Lok Sabha polls on 1st June.
