Manchester United Wins FA Cup, Defeats City 2-1

Manchester United defeats Manchester City by 2-1 in FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium, London, England. Manchester United are now 13-time winner of FA Cup.

Erik Ten Hag made a good score defeating the Manchester City. Ten Hag was dismissed after a troublesome campaign at Wembley. Even the United Manager Ten Hag described as “terrible”. There was a huge craze among the fans of Manchestors City. However, Ten Hag’s strategy led the team on the way to win FA Cup this time. Ten Hag neutralizes Pep Guardiola’s side as first half goal from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo and wins FA Cup for the first time in  the last 8 years. Jeremy Doku held on to the 87th minute strike past Andre Onana but they failed to save the Manchestor City.

While, Van Gaal got fired two days after FA Cup final victory against Crystal Palace in 2016.

Alex Ferguson’s 1990 FA Cup final’s win against Crystal Palace, was the moment when the kick started his remarkable run after calls for his sacking earlier in that season.

United shareholder Jim Ratcliffe, controller of football operations at Old Trafford also kept an eye on the match along with Joel and Avie Glazer. Having, Thomas Tuchel, Mauiricio Pochettino and Gareth Southgate and others, Ratcliffe still has opportunity in the 8th Premiere League.

United Manger Ten Hag says to BCC Sport, “You have seen that whenwe have the players on board, how we can play to our philosophy. Some are not fit, expecially not match fit but I think the performance was very good. I tell you this all year. When the players are fit, we can play good football. You’ve seen a very good performance against the best team in the World, I think”.
