Kedar Jadhav Announces Retirement From All Forms of Cricket

Jadhav is currently captaining Kolhapur Tuskers in Maharashtra Premier League.

Kedar Jadhav announces his retirement through a post on Instagram on Monday, June 3. Jadhav had represented India in 73 ODIs and 9 T20Is from the year 2014 to 2020.

Kedar Jadhav has announced his retirement from kinds of cricket forms, in the way similar to MS Dhoni. Kedar writes in his post, “Thank you all for your love and support throughout my career from 1500 hrs. Consider me retired from all forms of cricket”.

Kedar is of 39 years, he played for India against New Zealand in ODI in Auckland, made his debut against Sri Lanka in Ranchi. He also scored a maiden century for India in an ODI against Zimbabwe after scoring 1389 runs. Jadhav scored 120 runs in 76 balls. In Ranji Trophy he scored 1223 runs with average being 87.35, being the highest run scorer. Jadhav played in 93 IPLs, scoring 1196 runs, playing with various teams Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Earlier Dinesh Kartik confirmed that he is taking retirement on a social media post on Saturday, June 1. Karthik has played 26 Test matches, 94 ODIs and 60 T20Is from 2004 to 2022. The announcement was done on his 39th birthday.

Jadhav is currently captaining Kolhapur Tuskers in Maharashtra Premier League. But his post does not specify whether he would quit from captaining the Tuskers.
