AAP Leader Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday affirms, that Aam Aadmi Party is not a permanent one in the INDI alliance. And adds that AAP has tied knot with the Congress just to defeat BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha Election.
Kejriwal says to India Today’s Rajdeep Sardesai that, “I am not in a permanent marriage with Congress. Our aim is to defeat the BJP for now”. Kejriwal says there is a “big surprise” on June 4. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) tries to create stance for exiting the INDI bloc. on Monday, Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit alleges that AAP is creating an atmosphere to get out of INDI alliance bloc which is a coalition party (opposing party) against the BJP government.
AAP will contest all 14 seats of Lok Sabha from Bihar. AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal announces that AAP would contest all 13 parliamentary constituencies in the State of Punjab and Chattisgarh. AAP would contest against Congress in these 2 states. Arvind Kejriwal alleges PM saying about the liquor scam, saying “My going back to jail is not an issue. This country’s future is at stake… Let them jail me for as long as they want, I will not be cowed down”. He says that he would resign as CM just because BJP wants so.
Currently Arvind Kejriwal has temporarily got bail to campaign for election till June 1. However he would have to surrender himself to the Supreme Court on June 2.
Prashant Kishor – a political analyst said that Kejriwal’s bail would hurt Congress and not BJP. He points that the bail would impact on overall morale and would lead to impact the voters of Delhi and Punjab. He said in an interview with RTV, “Of these 22, 14 are in Punjab where a direct contest is between the AAP and Congress. If AAP benefits in Punjab, it will be Congress’ loss”.
Earlier, Sandeep Dikshit, says to PTI, “The Aam Aadmi Party is only building an atmosphere to get out of the (INDIA) alliance. What is there in it? We knew this was going happen. As I always mention that… Amit Shah has declared publicly what the AAP is supposed to do…they will do that, there is nothing surprising in it”. On the statement made by Dikshit, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said, “I don’t want to comment on such great leaders”.
